Privacy Policy

Highway Code & Theory Prep is a fully offline reference and study app — built to help you learn, not to learn anything about you.

In short: no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. We don't collect, store, share or sell any personal data.

Information we collect

None. The app does not gather personal information about you. We have no servers and receive nothing from your device.

What stays on your device

A few preferences are saved locally on your device only (using the system's standard storage) and never leave it:

Your appearance choice (System / Light / Dark).
Your favourite rules and signs.
Entries you add to the personal penalty-points tracker.

Deleting the app removes this local data.

Using the internet

The app works fully offline. The only time it can access the internet is if you tap an optional “official source” link, which opens the relevant page on gov.uk in your browser. No data is sent beyond the standard web request your browser makes.

Analytics, ads and tracking

There are none. The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking technologies, and it does not use the Advertising Identifier.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

The Highway Code content is Crown copyright, reproduced under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The practice questions are our own, written from The Highway Code — they are not the official DVSA theory-test questions. This app is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by DVSA, DVLA or any government agency. It is for educational reference only and is not legal advice.
